William Truckaway: William Truckaway [Reprise, 1972]
Another affable pop-jug production from Eric Jacobson (Lovin' Spoonful, Critters, Sopwith Camel, Blue Velvet Band, Norman Greenbaum). As always, the auteur with his name in big letters has a mild voice and a mild sense of humor: in this case, he used to be in the Sopwith Camel and cuts his pastoral whimsy with a synthesizer. The backup is Jacobson's usual charming studio corn. I could listen to one of these a year forever. B+
