As an unmistakably genuine artist who is unmistakably limited and unmistakably easy to dislike--his manipulative moan reminds Carola that "there are worse things in men than machismo"--Zoss raises the question of whether nice, bright product isn't sometimes preferable to realized art. Personally, I'll take good Anne Murray any day. C+
