Not a rerun. Skynyrd without Ronnie Van Zant isn't Skynyrd, so four survivors regroup under a more accurate name, and even more impressive, honor Van Zant's irreplaceability absolutely--by installing a woman up front. In the happy ending, the woman's singing and writing would be as singular as Van Zant's, but this is real life and real death, and instead Dale Krantz is merely strong and competent in a generalized "rock" way--here boogie, there almost art-metal. It's a surprise and a pleasure to hear her timbre on top of those guitars. But only the over-the-top cheating song "Three Times as Bad" rises out of the sound. B-
