I Live Here [Sacrifice, 1986]
"Here" is the Lower East Side, and they're talking to (or yelling at) you, Ms. "Social Climber"--or, more generally, Person Who Doesn't Live on the Lower East Side. Surprisingly, this parochial approach is good for music more intense and universal than, to choose the relevant example, the Bush Tetras' "Too Many Creeps." Unsurprisingly, it's also good for doomy drivel. B-
